I know a lot of riders who want to leave where they are for another country or just want to take a few month’s trip to another country, but don’t know if they can take their motorcycle by plane to the country they are going to.

So, can I bring my motorcycle on an airplane? Yes, it is possible as some airplanes companies definitely agree to do that but bear in mind that it is a bit complicated process and beyond that, it costs a lot of money to bring your motorcycle by the plane, so it will not suit everyone.

To not deceive you, taking a motorcycle on an airplane is not that simple. There are so many different factors and things you will need to do and you must abide by the law of the state. You will need to reduce the weight of the motorcycle by dismantling some sections while each airplane even has its own parcel restriction; therefore, it has lots of various factors and many things involved.

If you are confused and do not know what to do, do not worry. Just make sure you read everything in this guide because, in this guide, I will show you all the things you need to know about taking your motorcycle on a plane and what steps you need to take.

How can I take a motorcycle with me on a plane?

It is important to let you know that taking a motorcycle on an airplane is not a simple thing; it costs a lot of money and requires a lot of time and effort.

Have a good reason for taking your motorcycle through a plane

First of all, you need to understand if you really need and if it’s necessary to take your motorcycle along with you. The only reason I would recommend for taking your motorcycle along is if you are planning to stay for a couple of months or if you are moving to other countries. I would not recommend taking your motorcycle along if you plan to go for a couple of week’s trip.

Again, take into account the money and time you will need to give in for the motorcycle transfer by plane and know that it’s a very difficult process. So, if you are ready to invest the time but don’t have the money, I don’t recommend you do it.

Find an airplane company that allow boarding of motorcycle

Lots of airlines in the world do boarding of motorcycles, while some take your motorcycle along with you, others bring it on a separate plane where you have to collect it separately at the airport. For prices, I can’t say precisely the amount they charge, and that is something you will need to find out yourself.

Know the airline requirements

Each airline has its own requirements and things they require you to do before they can transfer your motorcycle, and it can be things such as weight. Most airlines require that your motorcycle must weigh up to 100 pounds and you also need to download some electronic parts.

In addition, it is important to note that beyond the requirements of airlines, each country also has its own requirements when it comes to transporting motorcycles, so it is important to check what your country’s requirements are.

Take your motorcycle out of the airport

After uploading your motorcycle to the airline company, expect it to get to the airport in a few days or weeks, depending on the company.

In most cases, those are the simple steps for transporting your motorcycle through a plane, but there are many other things I am sure your airline company and state will require from you. As I said, it is not an easy process, so I recommend you contact a professional air transport company that will help you a lot and do all the dirty work for you.

How much money does it cost to transport a motorcycle by plane?

A lot of different things are involved and I can’t really say how much the transporting fee will cost but at least between $200 to $2,000 on average as shown below. The price also varies among airline companies due to various factors.

Distance

Price

Below 500 miles

$200–$300

500 to 1000 miles

$500

1000 miles

$1,000

Above 1000 miles

$1,000 to $2,000

Distance – The more distance the airplane has to travel to deliver the motorcycle, the higher the cost. For short flights, it will cost you about $200 to $300, while for longer flights closer to 1000 miles, it will cost you at least $600. For a flight range of over 1000 miles, you will have to pay between $800 to $1,200.

Speed - If you need your motorcycle in the shortest possible time, you will have to pay at least a few hundred dollars more for express delivery, which I personally do not recommend. Wait for the normal time instead, as it is also not easy for airlines to expedite the delivery. That is even why they charge a higher amount of money for expedite delivery.

Commissions and transporting pay – Commissions and transporting pay is also another part of the process and it varies between the airlines and the country you want to transfer the motorcycle to. Again, you have to check with the airline, but in most cases, the commissions and transporting cost is usually between $100 to $300.

Weight and size – The bigger and heavier the motorcycle, the more its shipping cost. The reason for this is that the heavier and larger the motorcycle, the more weight, and space it takes on the airplane, so it significantly increases the price.

Discounts – If you are transporting 2 motorcycles or more on one plane, some airlines would be happy to give you a discount of $25 to $65 on each motorcycle. If you also have a club at an airline, you will also be given another discount.

All these combine to a large amount of money. So, you should consider that and, first, you should be able to afford the money to transport a motorcycle by plane. In addition, I do not recommend transporting by an airplane company because your motorcycle is unprotected and they use very cheap and poor equipment, so be careful not to fall into an unreliable company.

Can I take my riding gear with me on the plane?

Yes, without a doubt, you can take all your riding gear with you on the plane. There was once a case that someone told me he couldn’t take his riding gear with him. There is no problem taking your riding gear with you because riding gear is nothing less than clothing, including the helmet, so they will tell you nothing about it. Among this is the helmet, gauntlet gloves and more; you can even carry the equipment through a bag in the plane.

In addition, you need to make sure the weight of the riding gear follows the requirement of the aircraft company because there is always a weight limitation for loads, so it is important to make sure that the equipment is not too heavy.

It is also important that you know how to pack your safety gear inside the suitcase so that you can put it on the plane without any problem. I even recommend that you wear the gloves or the riding jacket with you on the plane to avoid putting too many things in the suitcase in order to save some weight.

Interested in checking out the full guide on how to pack your motorcycle equipment in the suitcase? I highly recommend you read this guide click here to view

Transporting my motorcycle by Ship or airplane, which one is better?

The best method today for moving a motorcycle from a country to another is just by plane or ship. Which is the cheapest and the best? What are the pros and cons of each? Read on to find out. But before I proceed, it is important to note that no one is better than the other; each has its pros and cons.

Transporting motorcycle by ship, pros & cons & who is it recommended for?

Transporting a motorcycle through a ship can be a much better way for lots of people because it is cheaper than sending a motorcycle on an airplane and it is also more convenient for most people to do it. However, the biggest problem with having a motorcycle transport through a ship is that it takes a long time. The minimum time is at least a couple of weeks and even months which a plane can do in a few days, so you have to take that into account.

Pros of transporting by ship

Cheaper (in most cases) – Transporting a motorcycle by ship is super cheap compared to a plane that is very expensive. Again, this is because transporting by plane is faster, but with that, if you are really ready to wait for the time, then be sure that transporting by ship is very cheap and the best for you while the price also varies by weight and size of the motorcycle. It is important to note that there are some instances at the seaport where they charge you expensive taxes which can significantly increase the price, but you will be surprised that even after the port taxes, it is still cheaper to send the motorcycle by ship rather than plane.

You will be updated with your motorcycle packaging – The TSA is responsible for wrapping your motorcycle and will make sure that your motorcycle is packed in a good way without any problems. You can also ensure that the motorcycle is well wrapped while making sure you get the motorcycle exactly how it is packed.

It’s more convenient – Taking the motorcycle from an airplane can be very annoying and uncomfortable because it’s always in between suitcases where you have to wait at the airport to get your motorcycle. But at the seaport, it is not a problem; you can easily take it.

Cons of transporting by ship

It takes longer – Unfortunately, it takes a long time for the motorcycle to arrive at its destination via a ship which can be a couple of weeks and even months, it all depends on the distance. So, if you know you need your motorcycle very fast, it is better to use a plane that can take a few days.

Risk of motorcycle theft – This may sound strange, but transporting by ship is far more dangerous than by plane. There is a risk that your motorcycle will get stolen or get hit because a ship is not stable compared to a plane that will keep the motorcycle from being vulnerable.

Transporting motorcycle by plane, pros & cons & who is it recommended for?

Pros of transporting by plane

Peace of mind – In most cases, the best option is to be in the same plane with your motorcycle, which makes it very easier because transporting the motorcycle by ship is very poor and you won’t know who will touch or damage it, so you’ll have peace of mind and rest assured that your motorcycle is in good hands with you.

Less risk of damage – When transporting a motorcycle with you by plane, it is much simpler to handle and check your motorcycle at stops of each country compared to transporting by ship, which contains trucks that can hurt your motorcycle, especially if your motorcycle is not well wrapped.

Faster – Transporting motorcycles is a faster process that can take from a few days to two weeks, which is very convenient.

Cons of transporting by plane

Uncomfortable – As I said, it’s not so convenient to take the motorcycle with you on the plane because you also have to take your suitcases and bags with you, which is very difficult. So, sometimes, the best option is to mount your motorcycle on a separate plane, especially when you don’t want to take the motorcycle and the bags together.

Fees – The most annoying thing is the commissions that can reach up to $200 if your motorcycle exceeds the required weight and altitude, so it’s important that you check it out before choosing to take your motorcycle on a plane.

More expensive – As said previously, it’s very expensive to get on a plane, especially if the distance is very far, so it’s important to be aware of your budget and act accordingly.

In general, I would personally recommend transporting by airplane if you need the motorcycle in a hurry and you are willing to pay the necessary money while I would recommend transporting by ship if you want to save money and if you can wait the long time it will take for your motorcycle to arrive.

The best airlines companies for transporting motorcycles

There are lots of different airline companies that I am sure will be happy to offer you their service and transport your motorcycle. While each has its pros and cons, so it is your job to do the work. But I chose to show you these 5 airline companies that I think are the best. You can also find yours. I chose these 5 to be the best based on tons of reviews and positive recommendations I heard about them.

Lots of motorcyclists complain that their motorcycle seat really hurt while riding and that it even prevent them from going for a long ride because it hurts their backside and buttock which causes very big pain.

So, why is your motorcycle seat uncomfortable? There can be many reasons why your seat is uncomfortable. It may be because your seat is too hard and does not come in padding or maybe your seat is missing a layer of protection for the buttocks or even maybe due to a poor fit of your seat, which can all create a big annoying pain while riding. There are, however, some ways by which you can solve all these problems and alleviate the pain created by your seat.

If you suffer from an aching seat while riding, do not worry, there are many different things you can do to reduce the pain. So, it is important that you continue to read this guide to know all the reasons why your motorcycle seat hurts and what you can do to reduce the pain.

So, let’s get started.

What are the reasons why your motorcycle seat is uncomfortable?

Unfortunately, most motorcycle seats become very comfortable, especially after a few hours of long riding and there is no such thing as having a perfect seat for a few hours of riding due to some major reasons mentioned below that will surprise you:

Body Shape – Each person has their own unique body shape and structure and motorcycle companies make their seats for an average person’s body structure. For example, a seat may be very comfortable for a person because it simply fits into their bodybuilding shape while it can be terribly painful for another person with an unsuitable physique for the seat shape, so because of that, it varies between people.

Frictionless Pants – Do not wear pants that are not designed for a motorcycle seat because you may experience very large and distressing pains, most especially if you wear loose pants that are basically not designed for motorcycle riding. And the problem of regular pants is that your backside and the pants fabric will rub off on the seat which is very painful. So, you should only buy motorcycle pants that are very tight and come with comfortable materials that do not rub off your buttocks on the seat.

Too much weight on the seat – A very common mistake often made by beginner riders is that they put their body weight only on the seat and not on other parts of the motorcycle like the handlebars or pegs, which causes back pain because the seat is not designed to handle all the body weight.

The seat is very hard – Lots of motorcycles seat look good at the beginning of riding, but as time goes on, you experience pain from the seat which is mainly due to the fact that the seat is not wide, without padding, and is very hard like a rock.

You are too fat – I know this is direct, but sometimes, it is the truth that riders who weigh heavier due to too much fat will suffer more from pain in the seat because they are probably overloaded with heavyweight on the seat.

Your butt is not used to the motorcycle seat- If you are a beginner and are experiencing pain from the seat, do not worry, it is very normal that the seat hurts at first and you will see that with time, you will get used to the seat. But if the seat still hurts after a while, then there is a major problem with your seat that causes it to be painful.

The edge of the seat is sharp – It is very common that the edge of the seat is very sharp and this can cause very painful pain.

If you worried about the pain of your seat, no more worries because there are some simple methods through which you can resolve the pain from your seat and make it more comfortable for riding.

How to make your motorcycle seat more comfortable (in 12 steps)

There are a few simple steps you can take to make your seat much more comfortable while I think it is important to know that if you are a beginner rider and your seat is painful for you, give yourself time to get used to it. Only after at least a month if you still feel that your seat hurts, then you will do these solutions because that probably shows the problem is in the seat.

1. Move back and forth on the seat while riding

A common mistake that a lot of riders make is that they simply forget to move back and forth on the seat, especially the buttocks, which causes the bloodstream not to flow properly and can cause pain and too much pressure in one area of the buttocks. So, be constantly active on the seat and move around as much as possible. Trust me, it really helps to cope with the pain as you start riding.

2. Wear only motorcycle pants

If you plan to ride with your regular pants such as regular training pants or jeans, don’t be surprised when your back hurt because the problem with these pants is that they are not tight enough and are not suitable for motorcycle seats. These pants cause your buttocks to be seated in a very painful way, and because of that, you must only wear motorcycle pants.

Not only do motorcycle adjusted pants protect you when you fall, but they also prevent your buttocks from pain while sitting because they are made of lycra and are very tight and comfortable which does not cause your skin to rub. So, buy only motorcycle pants.

3. Spread your weight on all parts of the motorcycle

Make sure that while riding, you do not put all your weight on the seat but also spread it to the pegs and handlebars while I personally love the riding poses of 50\50 which is half of my body weight on the handlebars as I lean forward and the other half of my body weight on the seat which significantly reduces pain.

In addition, if you happen to have a lot of fat which causes too much weight, then you should go on a diet because excess weight definitely causes pain while sitting on a motorcycle seat.

4. Push the container with your feet

Pressing and applying weight by pushing the container with your legs greatly helps the buttocks and support your back, which gives you more power and strength while riding. A lot of riders forget to do this while riding; therefore, transferring weight to the containers through the legs is very easy and will support the buttocks muscles.

5. Cover the seat with a Merino wool pillow

If your seat lacks padding, then the best material that you can use to cushion your seat is Merino wool, which is very popular and will perfectly prevent your seat from hurting. It is also very comfortable and significantly alleviates all pain.

In addition to Merino wool, a Sheepskin pillow can also be excellent and works great not only to reduce pain while riding but also to warm the body in winter.

6. Put a towel or pillow on the seat

If you want a quick solution that doesn’t require too much effort, then putting a towel or pillow on the seat will definitely be great and will also reduce pain. Some people might even think it is more comfortable and require less effort, so it is recommended to try anyway.

7. Buy the Baleaf Realtoo Coolmax shorts

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on professional riding pants for motorcycle riding, the best option is to buy very tight shorts that provide good protection for your buttocks while the best pants in the market are by far the Baleaf Realtoo Coolmax. The Baleaf Realtoo Coolmax provides very comfortable trim upholstery and good seat protection while being super cheap. It is sold for only $12 and can be found on Amazon.

8. Buy seating pads

If your seat is as hard as a rock, you will definitely want to buy seating pads that will greatly help and provide good comfort while riding. The most popular one used by riders is the Airhawk2. It is sold on Amazon, very convenient and cheap and really makes it easier to sit while reading.

9. Using painkillers

If you do not want to spend too much money to make your seat more comfortable, then one of the easiest and cheapest things you can do to reduce pain while riding is using painkiller substances like fatty acids and other substances that can help reduce pain.

There are lots of great painkillers in the market, but the best pain reliever in the market is by far the PainZone, which does the best job at a very affordable price and is also available on Amazon.

10. Buy a new seat

If you want to get the maximum comfort while riding and you have the money and you are willing to invest, the best option is definitely buying a new seat for your motorcycle.

Today, a lot of comfortable motorcycle seats are offered by many companies in the market while I will list the 10 best and most comfortable ones, as shown in the table below.

Motorcycle seat

Price

Mustang Super Touring Seat

$540

Saddlemen Adventure Track Seat

$375 – $839

Corbin Fire & Ice Saddle for Goldwing

$993

Saddlemen Gel-Channel Tech Seat

$250 – $525

Airhawk Independent Suspension Technology Seat For BMW

$400 – $675

Sargent World Sport Performance Seat

$285 -$715

Le Pera Daytona 2-Up Seat For Harley

$313 – $577

11. Buy a designed seat

If you take your seat very seriously and it is very important to you, then a very good option can be to contact a private company that will make a custom seat for you, while I recommend it for only racing riders or people who ride for hours every day on the roads and for a long time.

The advantage of custom seats is that they will be very perfect for your size and your motorcycle plus a great comfort level but it will cost you a lot of money.

The best company I know that produces custom motorcycle seats in the best way is Bill Mayers Saddles They provide the best service and performance in the market while you can contact them over the phone or on their website.

12. Do your DIY

If you want to make and build your seat in an original way with some materials, this can be a great option too, while the video here below will show you how to make a new and more comfortable motorcycle seat yourself.

One of the most common questions people ask when looking at a motorcycle is the maximum speeds it can reach. Without a doubt, a 125cc engine is small for a motorcycle and will limit its acceleration and top speed significantly.

The maximum speeds that most 125cc motorcycles will reach is between 110 and 130 mph (177 to 210 km / h), this depends a lot on the type of motorcycle. Most sports motorcycles that are 125cc were closer to speeds 130 mph top speed and the other types were closer to the 110 mph mark.

So as you have seen, 125cc motorcycles are really not as slow as most people think. They can reach relatively high speeds that will satisfy any beginner rider. The good thing is that they are very safe and cheap, you the perfect choice for beginner riders.

You want to know more about the maximum speeds of 125cc motorcycles and how You can reach higher speeds, the factors that affect your motorcycle’s speeds, and the islands 125cc motorcycles are right for you, so keep reading.

Her are all the questions I will answer in this guide

What are the factors affecting 125cc motorcycle speed?

How to get the highest speeds from a 125cc motorcycle?

For who 125cc motorcycles are intended?

What are the factors affecting 125cc motorcycle speed?

Level of wind resistance

Maybe the factor that most affects the maximum speeds you can reach with a motorcycle Your 125cc is the level of wind resistance that your motorcycle has, while there are models that have more wind protection and there are models that have no wind protection at all.

The wind really slows down your motorcycle while riding, and there are even riders who, if most were beginner and inexperienced riders who had a tough to impossible ride. In strong winds and not only that, it isn’t easy when riding in strong winds. Your motorcycle speed will decrease significantly, so you must make sure that you had wind protection on the motorcycle.

But do not worry, your motorcycle does not have a wind-facing system installed, so you can always try to install it yourself.

Advanced motorcycles compared to low motorcycles

The sad truth is that motorcycles at higher prices were significantly faster than cheap motorcycles, and there are lots of parameters and differences between cheap and expensive. They are also the smallest, while motorcycle companies add more features to their expensive models that improve their performance, so you will always know that a more expensive motorcycle will give you more value.

Weight

Weight is super important and influential when it comes to reaching maximum speeds with Your motorcycle. The weight you weigh will affect the maximum speed you can reach and the weight of your motorcycle, which in most cases will affect the speeds even more.

So if you do not, believe me, I will give you an example you will compete in a race against a rider. You have the same type of motorcycle, but you weigh 120 pounds, and it weighs 90 pounds, so be sure that your opponent, who weighs 30 pounds, is faster than you, and chances are you will win and reach much higher speeds than you.

Number of cylinders

In my opinion, the factor that most affects your motorcycle speed is, without a doubt a number The of cylinders that are inside your motorcycle while the purpose of the cylinders is to compress and burn the fuel to turn energy into heat, which greatly affects the maximum speeds you can reach while riding.

In general, there are 3 types of cylinders. The first type is cylinder 1, which you need less Take care when it comes to 125cc motorcycles since only 1-cylinder SUVs are available.

The second type you need to know about is 2 cylinders in all motorcycles with engines below 500 cc, which means that most 125cc motorcycles had 2 cylinders.

And the third type is 4 cylinders that are only inside motorcycles with engine volumes of over 500cc.

2-stroke engines versus 4-stroke engines

Every 125cc motorcycle has two types of engines or 2 beats or 4 beats, each of which has different features.

2-stroke engines

2-stroke engines are very lightweight and consume as much fuel and oil as you will need to Add to it often. In contrast, these engines are super powerful and much faster than 4-stroke engines, but the disadvantage of 2-stroke engines is that their lives are quite short and destroyed relatively quickly. Hence, it is important to take this into account.

Advantages

Very fast and powerful

Lightweight

Disadvantages

Require a lot of maintenance

Short life

For whom it is recommended – recommended for advanced riders

4-stroke engines

4-stroke engines are the complete opposite of 2-stroke engines, while 4-stroke engines are Will require significantly less maintenance. Their longer life is heavier and much slower than 2-stroke engines, making you perfect for beginner riders.

Advantages

Require less maintenance

long life

Disadvantages

slow

Heavy

For whom it is recommended – recommended for beginner riders

As you have seen you want to get the highest speeds when riding so 2 stroke engines were more suitable for you, but on the other hand, you want to be more Sure, and you are a beginner rider so I will more recommend you a 4 stroke engine that will suit you better.

Riding skills

At the end of the day, you also had the fastest and most advanced motorcycle on the market for as long as possible You do not have enough skill and experience when riding a motorcycle. Hence, chances are you will not be able to reach a quarter of a day that a fast motorcycle has to offer, so this is why it is important that you first get a motorcycle that suits your level and then valid for faster motorcycles.

How to get the highest speeds from a 125cc motorcycle?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4J7dRRBcrM

The speeds that a 125cc motorcycle can reach do not satisfy you, so do not worry Because the truth is that there are some things you can do to successfully reach the highest speeds while riding.

Lose Weight – The best and most effective way you can lower your motorcycle load and reach higher speeds is, without a doubt, your weight loss, while there are 2 main ways you can lower it. Your weight is through diet and the second way is to use lighter protective equipment while taking into account that lighter protective equipment will cost you more money, but it is worth it.

Do not ride with a full fuel tank – your fuel tank is a very significant part of your motorcycle that adds a lot of weight and load to your motorcycle, which greatly slows you down when riding. Hence, the best thing you can do is make sure you do not ride with a fuel tank Full and instead ride with a half-full fuel tank, which will give you already a few pounds less when riding.

Clean the air filter – Your air filter may be a small part of your motorcycle. Still, it is among the most important and significant parts, and it greatly affects the speeds Of the motorcycle, so you must make sure to clean the air filter after each ride so that the engine can work properly.

Install a wind protection system – you do not have a wind protection system. I am very Recommended that you install it so that you can deal with the wind while riding better and more efficiently, allowing you to reach higher speeds.

For who 125cc motorcycles are intended?

125 cc motorcycles are very light motorcycles designed for beginner riders, And the truth is 125cc motorcycles are the safest motorcycles on the market for riders after 50cc motorcycles.

But now it’s important to know that you should not expect to get insane speeds of 125cc motorcycles Designed for vehicles at relatively low speeds and designed only for beginners.

This part of the motorcycle may require the most replacement every year and is sold at the high prices. It can cost you even a few hundred dollars. This expensive price gets a lot of people angry and they don’t know why it’s expansive.

So, why are motorcycle tires so expensive? Motorcycle tires are expensive because they are the most important part that keeps you safe. Also, the manufacturing process of motorcycle tires requires a lot of investment and effort and engineering. Also, the materials from which motorcycle tires are built are very high-quality and expensive, which makes them very expensive. And if you have a more advanced motorcycle or you want to buy higher grades tires, the cost will be very high.

Several other reasons explain why motorcycle tires are sold at a high price, and in my opinion, all reasons are justified. Every motorcycle rider should invest and buy high-quality tires. I didn’t say hundreds of dollars but I believe most average motorcycle riders don’t really have to get super expensive tires but to get those good quality tires.

If this topic interests you, keep reading because, in this guide, I will discuss the reasons why motorcycle tires are sold at affordable prices, whether you should buy expensive or cheap tires, and if they really have differences.

So, let’s gets started.

Reasons why motorcycle tires are so expensive

Motorcycle tires are expensive and several reasons justify this fact. At the same time, it is essential to note that you really don’t need to spend tons of money on tires. Don’t take it too radically but instead, buy right tires and don’t judge by their price but by their quality.

So, here are some reasons why motorcycle tires are so expensive

Engineering Process – Motorcycle tires require lots of engineering and investment by manufacturers. Also, it may surprise you to know that motorcycle tires need more engineering than car tires. The reason is that motorcycles have only two wheels, which means they are far less stable than car tires. Therefore, manufacturers spend a lot more investment and energy on motorcycle tires.

Tires are the most important part for your safety – Another reason why motorcycle tires are expensive is that they are the most important part of your motorcycle for your safety. Think about it. There is only a piece of rubber between you and an accident or disaster and even death and so you have to make sure to buy the best quality tires. Besides, even a small hole in the tire when riding can lead to death. So, this is why the tire manufacturers have so many safety requirements.

Law of Supply and Demand – This law is a very significant factor that explains why motorcycle tires are more expensive in particular than car tires or trucks. For example, according to the law of supply and demand, when there are not many motorcycles like other vehicles, there is less market and competition, which makes tires more expensive because there is less demand (of course compared to cars).

Brand – As more the tire brand you buy is more popular and considered in the market, the higher the price of the tire will be. And the truth is that this belief doesn’t affect tires alone, but also other commodities such as clothing, motorcycles, everything and that is a pretty justifiable reason that, in most cases, the more the brand is popular and considered better, the more likely you will get better quality tires, in particular, compared to a less recognized brand.

Material – Lastly, the reason that changes tire prices is the material used for production. The higher the quality of the tire, the higher the price it will cost. It is important to note that the higher the quality of the tire material, the higher the efficiency of the tire on hard surfaces and the better the durability.

The truth is, if you ask me, I will advise you to consider the quality of the tires (in terms of weight, size, and build material) instead of the price. So, I recommend that you get someone professional to inspect the quality of the tires.

How much money do motorcycle tires cost?

Well, I have talked about the reasons that make motorcycle tires expensive. Now, I will discuss the costs of motorcycle tires.

So, the truth is that motorcycle tires are costly and are sold at average prices between $70 and $400. The price of the tire you want to buy is very dependent on the type of motorcycle you have and your riding style or type, and the type of brand.

For example, if you want to go for long-distance rides with your motorcycle or even do races, you will definitely have to invest in more expensive tires so they can deal with your riding type. In other words, if your riding type is more difficult and more challenging, you will need to get high-quality tires. However, if you purchase low-quality tires, you will not only enjoy your ride but chances are your tires will be destroyed in a very short time.

On the other hand, if you ride your motorcycle mostly for fun or not frequently, you can definitely consider the option of buying already used tires that you can buy for almost 50% off regular tires. So, this can be a great option for an amateur rider.

Also, most people forget that it will also cost them to install the tires. Installation of motorcycle tires by a professional will cost an average of between $15 and $50 per tire. Also, the more expensive and complicated your motorcycle is, the more expensive it will cost you to install them.

Are there differences between cheap and expensive tires & which of them is preferable?

The short answer is, yes. There are big differences between cheap and expensive tires, but the truth is that most riders will not have to buy super expensive tires and can deal with cheap tires.

So, which of them is preferable? The answer is very simple: if you ride long distances, racing, and under tough conditions, then you definitely have to get expensive tires. Buy less expensive (low-quality) tires will destroy your motorcycle very quickly. However, if you are an amateur rider riding and you ride your motorcycle for fun on the road, and in town, so cheap tires will be preferable for you.

Buy expensive tires just for the following reasons

A long-distance rider

A rider who rides on hard surfaces (snow, sands, rain, ice)

Racing rider

Buy Cheap Tires Just for the following reasons

An amateur rider

No long-distance rider

Rides only in your city

Rides in light surfaces

These are some differences between cheap and expensive tires

Noise

A factor that significantly affects the price of the tire is noise. The more noise the tire makes when riding, the less expensive it is because of the lack of strong construction. On the other hand, the less noise a tire makes, the more expensive it will be.

Resistance

The more durable the tire, the higher the price of the tire. The more durable tires would last for longer and thus save money in the future. Also, the tire durability is determined by the rubber.

The harder the tire rubber becomes, the longer it will last. Another factor affecting tire durability is the shape, and the more durable the tire, the higher the performance it will give you.

Treatment and Material

Tire handling and material are the most influencing factors on the tire price.

The higher the handling and quality of the tire, the higher the price of the tire. This is because the better the tire handling and material, the better they will perform when riding on the road, especially on hard surfaces such as sand, ice, or rain, while tires with poor quality construction will not be able to cope with difficult surfaces over time. So, it is important to take this into account.

Also, the better the handling and quality of the tire material, the more you will gain control of the motorcycle and also avoid obstacles.

Size and thickness

The wider and thicker the tires, then the more expensive they will be. The reason is that wide tires can easily cope with difficult surfaces and also, thick tires make less noise.

Braking distance

The shorter the braking distance of the tire, the more expensive it is. And in my opinion, this is the most justifiable reason that it can keep you safe anyway. So, if the braking distance is shorter, you can avoid obstacles more quickly.

Comfort

The higher the quality of the motorcycle tire, the better the handling of the motorcycle on roads, and thus the higher the level of comfort you will derive.

Brand name

I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ll repeat it here.

It will cost you more to buy a better quality brand that is recommended on the market. And the truth is that the more the brand is popular, the more likely you are to get better tires.

Also, brands that are considered small can be great for you, as an amateur rider. It’s important to note that you should not buy from brands that no one knows. You have to do a little market research and seek advice before choosing a particular brand.

Fuel efficiency

The higher the tire durability, the more fuel you can save, which makes the price. The more the tire moves with ease, the less difficult it is to save fuel.

In my opinion, buying expensive tires would be the preferable option, it is very worth it because you get what you paid for: stability, durability, less noise, and better comfort. Expensive tires affect your safety when riding, giving you so many advantages over cheap tires.

Also, in my opinion, expensive tires can save you money in the long run, both the cost of fuel and the cost of replacing the tires. Because the more expensive are the tires, the longer they will last.

Related questions

Are cheap motorcycle tires very bad? No, cheap tires can be excellent. Although they can’t perform at the level as expensive tires which gives more comfort and less noise. However, cheap tires could be excellent too.

How Much Money Does Motorcycle Tires Cost? Motorcycle Tires Cost between $50 and $400, and this will change according to specific factors I explained in this article.

Why Are Motorcycle Tires More Expensive than Car Tires? Motorcycle tires are expensive than cars because the manufacturers spend more energy and effort on handling and material. After all, the motorcycle has only two wheels, which means it has less stability than vehicles.

One of the most worrying things when riding a motorcycle is that your motorcycle’s headlight starts to burn. At the same time, it is a very worrying scenario that can lead to a lot of scenarios Different and even an explosion of the lamp itself, which can lead to injury even if the rider, so this is something you must take care of first and foremost.

So why does my motorcycle headlight keep burning out? The motorcycle headlight Can burn because of lots of different scenarios. In contrast, the main reasons that cause a flashlight to burn are vibration, lamp touches, exposure to continuous heat, and more.

In general, you must understand that when your flashlight starts to burn at the level you are touching, come on. You feel the pain of the heat. It should light a red light for you. At that moment, the first thing you need to do is take care of it because there were cases where motorcyclists rode even though their headlight kept burning, and eventually, the headlight exploded from too much heat or just broke down and no longer worked.

If you want to know more reasons why your flashlight keeps burning and how you can Avoid Misa and fix it, keep reading because, in this guide, I will show you all the important things you need to know about burning motorcycle headlights.

Here are all the questions and topics I will answer in this article

what are the reseons that cause the motorocycle headlight to keep burning out?

As I said, many reasons and issues cause motorcycle headlights to keep burning out. You must take care and examine each of these reasons seriously Because it’s all about your safety.

Vibration

The number one factor that causes a motorcycle headlight to burn is undoubtedly vibrating while a headlight is vibrating. Over time it causes the headlight itself to become hotter today and burn, while 2 main reasons cause the vibration of a motorcycle headlight.

Vibration can be caused by riding on rough and unstable roads, causing the headlight to Vibrate frequently, so there is no problem that you will ride on rough roads. Still, you already know that you had a winding road, so at least you must make sure that the flashlight installed in the strongest way you can in the flashlight assembly will prevent vibration.

Another reason that a vibrating headlight can be caused is that your front wheels are unstable once a year, which can cause imbalance and the truth when it happens. You will feel the flashlight get vibrating and burnt, but the whole motorcycle of vibration, so it is important to fix it.

Flashlight touches

Another thing that can cause a motorcycle headlight to burn is touching the bulb, and the problem with touching the headlight with bare hands is that your hands can leave marks on the glass. Which can cause a fire, mainly your hands leave oil or dirt marks, which can cause hot spots when the flashlight is working, which can cause the flashlight to burn. The truth is it can come from a container of enough space that you will finish eating greasy food and then touch the flashlight without you being aware, and you will already see that the flashlight will start to burn.

If you want to touch the motorcycle’s headlight, then always do it with gloves or In a cloth so as not to leave marks on the glass.

Prolonged riding in the heat motorocycle headlight

When you ride in the morning when it is scorching in the summer, it can also cause the motorcycle headlight to burn due to the high heat for a long time. In contrast, usually, the headlight burns mainly in the summer season in very hot mention but not most of the year the headlight can be heat resistant.

Therefore when you ride in the summer season, your motorcycle will try to give immediately Once breaks for the flashlight and you will find a shady spot where the flashlight starts to burn.

Poor installation of the

Improper installation of the flashlight is also a reason why the flashlight continues to burn. In contrast, the problem that poor installation of the flashlight can cause the flashlight to burn is because when the installation.
Caused negligently and quickly, it can cause the instability of the flashlight, which can cause it to vibrate, causing the fire.

Also, poor installation can cause problems in the lamp due to poor connections due to There is a problem in the circuit of the electricity for example and it is not complete. There are loose connections it can cause the electricity itself not to work smoothly, which can cause heat in the flashlight.

Using a cheap flashlight

Another reason your headlight probably keeps burning could also be because your motorcycle’s headlight is very cheap, which can cause the headlight to burn.

This may surprise you, but very cheap headlights are built from very materials Cheap, not durable enough, which makes cheap flashlights unstable. Besides, the glass itself is very cheap and not resistant to sun and heat. Besides, there are many other disadvantages of cheap flashlights that cause them to burn quickly, so I recommend buying expensive and heat resistant flashlights and not cheap.

In general, these are all the main factors and reasons why the flashlight of your motorcycle Continues to burn with You still have not found that one of the reasons causes your flashlight to burn I highly recommend you consider consulting a professional lamp technician to help you find the problem.

What’s dangerous about a hot motorcycle headlight?

The dangerous thing about a motorcycle headlight that continues to heat up is mainly because of the risk of burns. From contact with a hot flashlight, which is very burning, this is the main reason you should always worry when your motorcycle headlight gets hot.

Another risk in a hot motorcycle headlight is the risk of an explosion, which is the truth, is not at all common, But it can happen when your puffs get very hot over time.

Another thing that is dangerous about a flashlight that keeps burning is that the flashlight can just turn off simultaneously. Riding It can be especially dangerous when riding at night, especially when you ride a long ride.

Can a motorcycle headlight explode from overheating?

The short answer is yes, and it may sound surprising. Still, since motorcycle headlights can definitely explode when they are exposed to excessive heat in a very extreme way And produce heat in a very long time, it can cause them to explode. The truth is just like anything else that produces heat regularly.

Motorcycle headlights explode from overheating because when the heat stops spreading, it should A place to go out, which causes the flashlight to explode. Still, it is important to note that the explosion of motorcycle headlights is not so common, so you really need the flashlight to generate very high amounts of heat for a long time for it to explode.

600cc motorcycles are very super in the motorcycle market. They are very fast and powerful. In short, they are amazing and offer lots of advantages.

If you want to buy a 600cc motorcycle, continue reading because in this article, I will show you the best 600cc motorcycles in the world.

So, let’s get started.

Yamaha R6

The Yamaha R6 is the best 600cc motorcycle in the world. It was created in 1999 and the most amazing thing is that it is still delivering crazy performance mainly because of the upgrades Yamaha did to it every year. It is also one of the most popular motorcycles ever released because I can’t tell the number of Yamaha units that sold the R6.

All this makes the R6 one of the best sport motorcycle in the world, and believe me, Honda and other 600cc models do not come close to the level of performance it provides, which is why I decided to mention it first. It is the best 600cc motorcycle series in the market.

The price of the Yamaha R6

The Yamaha R6 is sold at $12,199, which is relatively expensive, but trust me, it’s worth the price. The price itself varies depending on the version you buy and if you want to buy its used, it will cost you between $3,000 to $11,000.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

The R6 has an outstanding performance that has made a huge change in the market and is one of the most powerful and strongest machines ever released.

First, the Yamaha R6 introduces the first engine to reach over 100hp. Thanks to its powerful 599cc cooled DOHC 4 cylinder inline fluid engine, 16 titanium valves and today’s modern engine surrounded with a 120-seat creature that can reach a maximum speed of up to 160 km (99 mph), which is just crazy and proves that the R6 engine is one of the qualities and powerful engine you can find for a race.

In addition, the R6 continues to be one of the lightest motorcycles in the market. It weighs only 419 pounds (190kg), which makes it very comfortable and even adds to its maximum speed.

In my opinion, the best feature that makes the R6 so attractive is the impressive design that blends with a very strong, durable, high-quality construction with two different types of blue, black tech and very strong materials.

My opinion about the R6

The Yamaha R6 is the best sport motorcycle you can find, and a lot of riders have won so many titles with it, such as the three world super sports titles, AMA and MotoAmerica racing. It has made tremendous success all over the United States, making it the king of the 600cc series.

But with all that, I would only recommend the R6 for racers and not for every motorcycle lover because its price is quite expensive. So, if you mostly ride in the city, I would recommend you buy a cheap motorcycle. But if you have the money to invest, you won’t be disappointed with the R6.

Honda CBR600RR

The CBR600RR was made by Honda in 2003 and has really made an incredible history. It has won several world titles such as the 2002 World Sports Champion and ten manufacturers’ crowns. The truth about it is that it is the greatest motorcycle in racing history because a lot of motorcyclists have won lots of races with it.

I had once argued about the Honda CBR600RR and the R6 and had a very hard time deciding the best between them. But I finally came to the conclusion that the CBR600RR should come second because Honda didn’t really make a huge change as Yamaha did to R6. Since 2013, Honda didn’t make any upgrades to the CBR600RR which makes it drop in performance, but it is still worthy of second place though I know some people will disagree with me.

The price of the CBR600RR

The CBR600RR is sold for $11,799, which is even cheaper than the Yamaha R6. But if you want to buy its used, I recommend the CBR600F4 or CBR600F4i models that averagely cost between $4,000 to $7,000.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

The CBR600RR introduces a very powerful four-cylinder petrol-cooled 599cc engine that produces 113 horsepower plus a power of 111hp and a peak torque of 48.7 pounds that is capable of producing a maximum speed of up to 251 km/h (156 mph), ensuring that you get the highest speed when racing.

In addition, the CBR600RR features a light weight of 410 pounds (185kg), which is very impressive because Honda has not made much weight change in a long time. It also has the best quality anti-lock brakes (ABS).

The design of the CBR600RR mainly depends on your opinion. To me, it presents a very beautiful design even though it came out in 2007. For many, they do not like its design because there are many beautiful models in recent years and it is not as beautiful as its competitors such as Yamaha and Suzuki. So, you may consider that it is not the nicest model in the market.

My opinion about the CBR600RR

The CBR600RR is undoubtedly one of the best motorcycles you can find, and for me, it is second to Yamaha in the 600cc market. It is also suitable for racing and priced at only $ 11,799 which is cheaper than its competitors.

I know many people will buy it because it is cheaper than the Yamaha R6 with a difference of almost $1,000. And it is not only cheaper than the Yamaha R6 but also than other 600cc motorcycles in the market.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a famous Kawasaki model that as early as 1995 and to this day, Kawasaki continues to upgrade it in performance and it gets better every year.

Today, the ZX-6R is considered the best 600cc motorcycle in the market. Although it is designed for racing, it very good for street riding and does a great job while riding in the city.

I must also point out that the ZX-6R will only fit for tall riders because it provides very large and wide dimensions.

The price of the ZX-6R

The ZX-6R costs between $9,000 to $11,000 and as a matter of fact, it is much cheaper than the Honda and Yamaha. And if you want to buy its used, it costs between $3,000 to $8,000.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

First, the ZX-6R has a very powerful 636cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, DOHC, 16-valve, liquid-cooled powertrain engine that reaches 127 KW and manages to produce very high speeds of 257-264 km/h (160–164 mph) which is amazing.

In addition, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has a very large dimension and a very lightweight of only 295 kg (650 pounds). Its seat height is 32.7 inches (830 mm) with wide width, which means that the ZX-6R has space for tall people. It is also suitable for short riders, but if you are very short, it will be less suitable.

I was really surprised that Kawasaki has recently added 3 power modes to the ZX-6R which greatly help improve traction. A fully adjustable rear rack is also added to help the rider accurately predict braking times along with excellent ABS brakes.

My opinion about the ZX-6R

In my opinion, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is by far one of the best 600cc motorcycles in the market. It proves why it is so good, but it is important to note that the ZX-6R is sold at a cheaper price for a reason and the R6 and CBR600RR models will perform better. So, take note of that.

Suzuki GSX-R600

A model that I think is very much underestimated in the market and doesn’t really get the respect it deserves is the Suzuki GSX-R600. It is the most deserving 600cc motorcycle and the truth is that it is even more powerful in performance and provides almost than other 600cc motorcycles mentioned here.

It is also important to note that for the past few years, Suzuki has not really made a significant upgrade to the GSX-R600, but with that, it still manages to match the performance of most other 600cc motorcycles.

The price of the GSX-R600

The GSX-R600 costs about $11,399 which is actually cheaper than most of its competitors, and if you want to buy its used, the price varies depending on the year the model was produced, but if the model was created between 2000 to 2005, it would cost you between $2,000 to $6,000 on average.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

The first thing that made me love the GSX-R600 is its 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, fluid-cooled, DOHC 599cc engine that delivers crazy power for racing plus 104 horsepower and a maximum speed of up to 155mph. And the most amazing thing is that it allows the rider to change the engine’s power level to match the weather.

For the brakes, I personally love them because they really do a smooth job. The brakes come with dual front with a four-tiered mono-block caliper, but the big downside is that Suzuki has not yet put in the GSX-R600 ABS brake system, so this is something you have to take into account if ABS brake is something that matters to you.

In addition, the frame and construction style of the GSX-R600 is very durable. Thanks to the 5 layers of aluminum that cover the frame and the best thing is that despite the rigidity of the frame’s weight, it still weighs 187 kg (412 pounds), which is very light.

My opinion about the GSX-R600

In my opinion, the Suzuki GSX-R600 is amazing and I do not understand why some people still disrespect Suzuki. The GSX-R600 is a bad beast and offers a lot of power, especially when racing. While some even say it bypasses the performance of the Yamaha R6, which is why I strongly encourage you to take it into consideration before you go for the famous Yamaha and Honda selections.

Triumph Daytona 675r

The Triumph Daytona 675r is a good and powerful motorcycle, while its biggest competitor is the Zx6r. I personally do not know much about this motorcycle, and I really doubt its reliability because it is not a Japanese motorcycle.

Don’t get me wrong, the Triumph Daytona 675r is a very powerful motorcycle but don’t compare its performance to that of Yamaha or Honda. It is suitable for both racing and road riding because it is considered relatively compact.

The price of the Triumph Daytona 675r

The Triumph Daytona 675r is sold lesser than most of its competitors. It costs between $8,000 to $10,000, while if you want a used 2005 Daytona 675r model, budget at least $3,000 which is a good price.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

First, the Triumph Daytona 675r delivers a very powerful and strong 675cc DOHC three-cylinder engine that manages heat through fluid cooling and can reach a maximum speed of up to 156mph (0 to 60mph in 2.9 seconds) which is quite impressive.

What surprised me most about the Triumph Daytona 675r is the feeling it provides to the rider. It also has a lightweight of 394 lb and a very comfortable 33-inch seat while it is important to note this motorcycle is not scary but more inviting to ride it unlike its competitors like Yamaha that are much scarier to ride.

Another thing that surprised me about the Triumph Daytona 675r is its engine efficiency. Although it requires a lot of maintenance, it does not require frequent replacement of fuel. It can reach 10,000 miles before you replace its fuel, which is amazing. So, it is not only cheap in price but also cheap in the long run.

My opinion about the Triumph Daytona 675r

In my opinion, the Triumph Daytona 675r is great for those who want a powerful motorcycle that delivers great speeds at a cheaper price. However, it is not as effective as the Zx6r or other 600cc models in the market.

Also, what I think is a drawback to the Triumph Daytona 675r is its design. I didn’t like the design and it even looks ugly in my opinion. So, it is important to take this into account.

MV Agusta F3 675

And now to my favorite model which I believe you will fall in love with. The MV Agusta F3 675 is a prestigious Italian MV and I personally love it more than any motorcycle on the list because it is so different and offers an amazing riding experience.

The MV Agusta F3 does not outperform any other motorcycle on the list, but it is considered better and much stronger than even the R6. It is also one of the most beautiful sport motorcycles in the market and looks very futuristic and impressive that anyone who sees this motorcycle will be impressed by its beauty.

The price of the MV Agusta F3 675

The MV Agusta F3 costs more than most 600cc motorcycles mentioned because of its impressive performance. It costs €15,490 which is very expensive but well worth its price. You can also buy its used at a cheaper price, which costs between $4,000 to $10,000 on average.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

The MV Agusta is powered by a very powerful four-stroke 675cc engine that manages to produce a crazy speed and power of about 124.00 hp (90.5 kW) @ 14500 rpm and can reach a maximum speed of up to 251.0 km/h (156.0 mph), which is very impressive.

Plus, as I said, the design of the MV Agusta is very impressive, while some say it is one of the most beautiful motorcycles in the world, which I can understand it is because it really looks very good. In my opinion, it looks much beautiful than any 600cc model.

Another important thing to note is that the seat height of the MV Agusta is 33 inches, so it may be less suitable and comfortable for short riders because it is a fairly large machine. So, if you are short, you need to take this into account.

My opinion about the MV Agust F3 675

The MV Agusta is an amazing motorcycle with crazy power and beauty. In my opinion, it is much more powerful than even the top 1000cc motorcycles in the market. It is so perfect for racing and, trust me, you won’t be disappointed with it.

In addition, since its price is higher than most of its competitors, buying its used can also be a great option. So, take note of that.

Benley TNT 600i

The Benley TNT 600i is one of the most popular motorcycles in places like India and Africa and any dense country with lots of traffic, while it is less recommended for racing because it is not powerful and strong like other 600cc motorcycles. However, it is highly recommended for city riding, especially in cities where there is a lot of density because the Benley TNT 600i knows how to handle riding on crowded roads, and in general, it is superb for city riding.

The price of the Benley TNT 600i

You can buy the Benley TNT 600i for Rs 6.20 lakh which is pretty cheap for riders who want a 600cc motorcycle and there are lots of people especially in India who sell its used very cheap. So, it is well worth a check.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

First, the Bentley TNT 600i has an inline 4 Cylinder, 4 Stroke, DOHC, water-cooled 16-valve 600cc engine, which of course, is not the most powerful engine because it can only reach 54.6 Nm @ 10500 rpm and that is exactly why it is designed for city riding.

In addition, the Bentley TNT 600i has a weight of 410 pounds (231 kg), which is heavy but still manages to be great on the road.

A very important point to know is that the Benley TNT 600i is one of the most economical 600cc motorcycles in terms of maintenance and does not require much fuel. So, it is not only cheap in price but also in the long run.

My opinion about the Benley TNT 600i

In my opinion, the Benley TNT 600i is a great motorcycle but I would recommend it only for those who feel they need more experience and more riding time before going for a powerful 600cc motorcycle. I would also recommend it for those who feel they need to have more road riding experience before getting a more serious 60cc motorcycle like the Yamaha R6 or the Honda CBR.

Kawasaki Versys 650

Another Kawasaki we have on the list is the Kawasaki Versys 650. Kawasaki Versys 650 is an adventure version and has been running for several generations. It is simply amazing and considered one of the best adventure motorcycles in the market.

The Kawasaki Versys 650 was first made in 2006 with the purpose of serving long rides especially adventure riding, unlike the Ninja ZX-6R made for racing. And to this day, it is very successful. So, the Versys 650 is designed for long-distance riding, which means it is slower and cheaper.

The price of the Kawasaki Versys 650

You can buy the Kawasaki Versys 650 for $8,299 which is much cheaper than other Kawasaki 600cc motorcycles. Buying its used can also be a great option and costs between $3,000 to $6,000.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

First, the Versys 650 has a 4-stroke, 2-cylinder DOHC, liquid-cooled, 4 valves per 649cc, parallel twin-cylinder, and reaches a torque of about 47.0 kilograms feet @ 7,000 rpm, unlike the Ninja that comes with a much more powerful engine. But believe me, it is enough and you will enjoy this engine too.

What surprised me the most about the Versys 650 is its flexibility, which is just amazing and will help you when making turns or riding on winding trails. It is also very comfortable and spacious with wide and high bars plus a luxurious seat, which gives you lots of comforts when riding.

The Versys 650 weighs 454 pounds (200kg) which is an average weight for adventure motorcycles and means you will not feel the weight of the motorcycle when riding. This is a very big advantage to the Versys 650 compared to other adventure motorcycles in the market.

My opinion about the Kawasaki Versys 650

In my opinion, the Kawasaki Versys 650 is the best 650cc adventure motorcycle you can find for long trail riding. It is simply amazing and displays all the performance and features needed for long-distance riding.

Suzuki DL650 V-Power

Another Suzuki motorcycle on the list is the Suzuki DL650 V-Strom but an adventure version. For the past 15 years, Suzuki continues to upgrade this amazing adventure model and is truly an excellent motorcycle.

The Suzuki DL650 V-Strom is one of the best 600cc motorcycles for on-road and off-road riding, especially long-distance riding and adventure. So, if you want a Suzuki dual-sports motorcycle, the DL650 is definitely a good choice for you.

The price of the Suzuki DL650 V-Strom

You can buy the Suzuki DL650 V-Strom for $8,799, which is cheaper than most of its competitors in the adventure motorcycle series. And if you want to buy its used, it costs between $3,000 to $7,000.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

First, the DL650 V-Strom engine is a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder, DOHC, 645cc engine that is very road-friendly. The engine reaches 5.8 liters in volume while the maximum speed it can produce is over 120mph and a maximum power of 71 kW @ 8000 rpm.

In addition, the DL650 V-Strom is quite heavy and its weight is relative to a 650cc motorcycle. It weighs about 500 pounds and its dimensions are relatively low (its seat height is 32 inches), making it a relatively heavy motorcycle. So, while some will see the weight as an advantage, some will see it as a drawback.

I was very impressed with the design of the DL650 V-Strom. It looks great and I really like it. It is one of the most beautiful 600cc adventure motorcycles you can find in the market and it blends in perfectly with high-quality materials.

My opinion about the DL650 V-Strom

In my opinion, the DL650 V-Strom is one of the best choices you can get if you are looking for a 650cc motorcycle for adventure. I highly recommend it if you want a cheap 650cc motorcycle that will give you good value.

In addition, the DL650 is very similar to the Kawasaki Versys 650. So, I recommend you consider them both and then choose the motorcycle you want.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is one of the best motorcycles released by the Royal Company years ago, while it is important to note that this model has undergone a lot of major changes and upgrade in recent years, especially the engine and a few other things.

The Interceptor 650 is a very classic model reminiscent of a slightly older design than modern sports motorcycles. Its design reminds me of the Harley motorcycles and I would personally recommend it to those looking for a very cheap 650cc motorcycle that will give good value. It is the cheapest 650cc motorcycle model available in the market.

The price of the Interceptor 650

You can buy the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 for just £5,990, making it the cheapest 600cc motorcycle you can find in the market that offers good value. You can also buy its used for a price between $1,500 to $4,000.

Notable features & why it is a good 600cc motorcycle

First, the Interceptor 650 has an excellent 4 stroke, 648cc, air & oil-cooled SOHC, 8v, parallel-twin engine that makes a very big change in recent years and is capable of producing a maximum power of about 47 kW @ 7250 bin. D.

The 2 things that impressed me the most about the Interceptor 650 are its weight of only 202 kg (445 pounds) and its excellent ABS type wheels that do an excellent job. I was very surprised to see that this model has ABS brakes despite its cheap price.

In addition, the design of the Interceptor 650 is reminiscent of the 80s. So, while some will love it, some will not.

My opinion about the Interceptor 650

In my opinion, the Interceptor 650 is one of the best 650cc motorcycles that offer the best value for money while it is important to note that it will not give you crazy but a satisfactory performance. I would recommend it for those who feel they need to do more motorcycle practice before jumping to more advanced 600cc models which means the Interceptor 650 can greatly serve you as a temporary motorcycle before you get a more advanced model.

However, it is important to note that if you do not live in the UK or India, you will find it difficult to get the Interceptor 650, especially in the United States, where it is less popular.

Harley-Davidson (popularly called Harley) and Royal Enfield are by far among the most similar and leading motorcycle companies on the market. They offer very similar motorcycle types such that one can hardly tell the differences between them. But the truth is, there are quite a few major differences between them that you should know.

So, what are the differences between Harley-Davidson and Royal Enfield motorcycles? The main difference between Harley-Davidson and Royal Enfield motorcycles is that Harley offers much more expensive motorcycles at a much more expensive price and much better quality and better hardware and performance. On the other hand, Royal Enfield models are cheaper, requiring less maintenance and easy to repair and, in most cases, more lightweight.

It is quite clear that Harley is a much better company than Royal Enfield. Harley has fans all over the world, making it very popular and creating a very big gap between it and Royal Enfield. This fact contradicts the argument that the two companies are very similar. The truth is Harley is a much more reliable company than Royal Enfield. Harley produces motorcycles all over the world and has more experience

However, Royal Enfield is more popular in some countries, especially India. Harley motorcycles will be a good choice for those who are willing to pay the high amount but Royal Enfield will better fit riders who want to save money and still get a good motorcycle similar to Harley.

If this topic is of interest to you, keep reading because, in this guide, I will explain all the advantages, disadvantages, differences, and features of each of the motorcycle companies (Harley-Davidson and Royal Enfield).

So, let’s get started.

Harley-Davidson motorcycle & for Who is it appropriate?

Harley-Davidson is an American motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1903 by Williams. The truth is, Harley is among the most iconic and popular motorcycle companies in the world. There’s a lot of opinion and controversy about Harley: there’s a lot of comparison between Harley and other companies, and a lot of people say Harley is the best motorcycle manufacturer in the world and has lots of factories in lots of states including Milwaukee; Pennsylvania; Missouri, Kansas City; India; Brazil, Manaus.

If you are comparing Royal Enfield to Harley-Davidson, you must know that Harley wins without a doubt and it has many more years of motorcycles production. With regard to cost, Harley will cost you much more money than Royal Enfield motorcycles.

The cheapest Harley motorbikes sell for $7600 and all other higher models cost almost $30,000. That is just crazy and even when you are yet to add the cost of maintenance.

And also the expensive repairs you need to make with time. All these factors make Harley motorcycles the most expensive motorcycles on the market

However, one drawback I have to point out is that Harley motorcycles are much heavier than Royal Enfield motorcycles. In terms of performance and features, Harley also adds some components inside their motorcycles which makes their models heavy. So, it’s important that you take this into account.

in return for the expensive price of Harley Motorcycles, you will receive incredible design and material quality, comfort when riding, advanced technology, more powerful engine power, and better performance.

So, what do I think about Harley motorcycles? In my opinion, Harley motorcycles are really amazing. Harley is a super special and iconic company but its motorcycles will not suit everyone because they are very expensive and require a lot of maintenance.

Pros of Hurley

reliability

Big motors

Advanced performance

A better sense of commercial engine sound

American Icon

Cons of Hurley

Expansive

Require lots of maintenance

Expensive to repair

Heavyweight

Royal Enfield motorcycle & for Who is it appropriate?

Royal Enfield was established in 1893 and the truth is, at first, it did not include motorcycles but bicycles, lawnmowers, and other things not related to motorcycles. But in 1901, Albert Eddy and Robert Walker built their first motorcycle.

The truth is, Royal Enfield is not that popular all over the world, unlike Harley-Davidson motorcycles which are much more popular. However, Royal Enfield is more developed and prevalent in poor countries like African countries, India, and places where the economy is weak.

In addition to Royal Enfield, they have nine motorcycle models that are marketed all over the world, which means that their customers do not have lots of choices to make. On the other hand, Harley has dozens of motorcycle models for you to choose from.

The Royal Enfield rules offer cheap motorcycles as they will give you reasonable performance that you can enjoy while riding but it would certainly not compare to Harley Davidson. As I have mentioned earlier, Harley surpasses all performance factors when compared to Royal Enfield. But Royal Enfield motorcycles have a feature that is better than Harley motorcycles; they are very lightweight.

But with this, some of the biggest advantages Royal Enfield has over Harley is that their motorcycles are very cheap, you don’t have to worry too much about maintenance and even repair, and the parts are very cheap. So, that’s why Royal Enfield is considered a lesser motorcycle company compared to Harley. Most people will still choose Royal Enfield motorcycles because of the cheap prices, making them very affordable.

Pros of Royal Enfield

Cheap and easily available parts.

Cheap price

Maintenance is very low

Lightweight

Cons of Royal Enfield

Less performance

A less beautiful look

Less quality design

Differences between Harley-Davidson and Royal Enfield motorcycles

Harley motorcycles are more expensive than Royal Enfield motorcycles

Harley produces very expensive motorcycles. They have motorcycles that manage to reach prices of over $30,000 and the truth is, there are other companies that offer motorcycles at very expensive prices as they go above $30,000. However, one disadvantage of Harley motorcycles is that they are expensive and priced at more than $10,000 on average, which is considered very highly-priced.

In contrast, Royal Enfield motorcycles are much less expensive but it is important to know that their motorcycles are of low quality and performance when compared to Harley motorcycles. So, it is important to take this into account.

Harley-Davidson motorcycles require more maintenance than Royal Enfield motorcycles

Harley-Davidson motorcycles require a great deal of maintenance. An average Harley motorcycle will cost you an average of $2500 for maintenance. While at 2500 miles, you need to spend $250 on maintenance. The more expensive your Harley motorbike is, the more expensive it is to maintain.

In contrast, Royal Enfield motorcycle, on average, will cost you about $2000 per 3500 km. And the truth is, it can cost you cheaper prices but it all depends on which model of Royal Enfield you buy and how many miles each year you ride it. However, irrespective of the price you purchased the Royal Enfield motorcycle, you can save a lot of money on maintenance compared to a Harley motorcycle that will cost a lot of money.

Harley motorcycles will cost you more for repairs than Royal Enfield motorcycles

Royal Enfield motorcycles are very cheap in terms of repairs because the motorcycle models are not made of high-quality materials like Harley. However, I do not say there is no Royal Enfield motorcycle that has high-quality. The motorcycles are made from some of the highest quality materials in the world but simply not on the same level as Harley.

Harley motorcycles will cost you a lot of money for repairs and this is because Harley motorcycles are much heavier than Royal Enfield models, which means that if you accidentally drop the Harley motorcycle, the cost of repair will be very high.

Harley motorcycles weigh more heavily than Royal Enfield motorcycles

Harley motorcycles weigh much more than Royal Motorcycles Enfield. This is because of the high-performance Harley has, and the weight of its parts, engine, and transmission. So, the bigger the engine, transmission, and other parts, the much heavier the bikes will be. This is why Harley motorcycles are much more heavier than the Royal Enfield counterpart.

Harley motorcycles have better performers then Royal Enfield motorcycles

As I have mentioned earlier, Harley motorcycles are much better in terms of performance than Royal Enfield motorcycles and in every aspect: speed, quality, beauty. So it’s important to take this into account.

Harley motorcycles are more beautiful, stylish, and have high-quality than Enfield bikes.
It’s not just beauty but also the hardware and quality and durability. The truth is, Harley produces the most beautiful motorcycles in the world and some will say that they have the finest of riders.

One of the most common questions which confused a lot of motorcyclists and which they asked is whether to replace their helmet after an accident or a head injury or even after they accidentally fall with it.

Do I need to replace my motorcycle helmet after a crash? Yes, you must replace your helmet after a head crash. No matter what the intensity of the vulnerability is, you have to replace it because the EPS or EPU foam damaged in light or hard crash will not properly protect you the next time you have a crash. So, no matter how perfect the helmet looks, as long as it doesn’t have an EPS or EPU foam that can survive a crash, you need to replace it.

In this guide, I will show you various things and all the things you need to know about replacing your motorcycle helmet after a crash, so keep reading.

Let’s get started.

Why do I need to replace my motorcycle helmet after a crash?

Before I show you the reasons why you need to replace your helmet after a crash, you must understand that no matter how simple the crash you had with the helmet and no matter how clean the helmet look, you still have to replace it. If you are convinced that the crash the helmet experienced was a minor one, I would recommend that you go to a professional or even a motorcycle store and ask the seller to check the helmet for you. I am sure he already knew if you should replace it or not.

Most motorcycle sellers would love to replace you with a helmet that has experienced a crash from their store. So, don’t give up on helmets that have experienced a crash. With BELL, you can check the helmet status over the phone or through email. Their phone number and customer support email are 800-456-2355 and bell@bellhelmets.com, respectively.

In addition, there is a website owned by the UK government, called sharp.direct.gov.uk that can show you what your helmet’s rating is and what the manufacturer instructions are, so I highly recommend you check it out.

Well, here are all the things you need to know about the replacement of your motorcycle helmet after a crash:

EPS foam is damaged – The main reason why you need to replace your helmet after a crash and a head injury is if the foam that is found in the helmet is damaged. The foam may be intended for only one crash and not even one fall that you can accidentally have with the helmet. There is an EPS foam that comes in very high-quality with every helmet so that it can survive more than one crash, while if you are not sure what the foam situation is after the crash, I recommend you go to a motorcycle seller and check with him.

The face or outer casing is damaged- If you are lucky that the EPS foam is not damaged, chances are that the outer casing of the helmet is damaged and suffered a shock which in most cases creates internal cracks or deformations, causing the helmet to destroy.

Shock Injury – According to the Motorcycle Safety Fund, if your helmet crashed into something and the helmet experienced a shock that significantly lowers its quality and level of protection, and even after the helmet crashed, it looks completely like a new as if nothing happened. It is most likely that the helmet experienced a vulnerable shock which will lower its level of defense, so you need to replace the helmet.

How to check if your helmet will need replacement after a crash

If you do not want to go to the seller, that is, you want to check the helmet yourself, it is quite possible, you just need to do some simple things as listed below:

First, take a quick look at the helmet on the outer mantle and check for cracks in the shell. That can already tell you a lot.

Second, remove the inside of the helmet to see what the material styrofoam looks like.

Third, check the front of the helmet and the plastic and make sure the top and bottom connector is securely connected.

Finally, look at the EPS foam that is covered in black color and make sure there are no cracks.

Above all, I will encourage you to go to a professional who can tell you all about the helmet and maybe even fix it for free.

Should I replace my motorcycle helmet after a small crash or fall without any sign of damage?

This happened to so many riders because a lot of riders told me they just had a minor crash on the motorcycle with the helmet and they are sure that the slight fall does not require the replacement of the helmet. It may not even be a slight fall; it can be an accidental fall with the helmet.

Honestly, there is no clear answer to this because of the different opinions. Some will tell you the helmet needs to be replaced immediately while some will say it doesn’t, that they themselves experienced a slight fall on their head and they continued to use the same helmet without any problem.

So, if you are really convinced that the crash was minor and maybe also on the side and not the top of the helmet that protects the head, it is worth checking and it’s better to consult an expert to help you.

Do I need to change my motorcycle helmet if it accidentally falls?

Usually, helmets may not survive a crash, but they can survive some small fall. Also, don’t believe all the sellers who tell you to replace it after a minor fall, some of them just want money from you, so don’t believe everything they say.

But if it is a major fall, such as falling from a tall building or tower, then yes, you are required to replace your helmet. Don’t even bother checking it even if it has no cracks and did not show any sign of damage.

It doesn’t mean you have to let your child play with your helmet because they’ll force it to the ground and can really do damage to the helmet which will make you need to replace it, so keep your helmet properly and care about it.

How to avoid motorcycle head accidents that will make you replace your helmet

If you don’t want to constantly replace your helmet and pay a lot of dollars every time, which is very annoying, I recommend you read the following step-by-step tips that will show you how to properly crash with your motorcycle without risking your helmet and head. You know you’re going to make an accident, it is a matter of seconds when you know a vehicle is approaching you.

So, here are the tips:

Protect your head with both hands

For some reason, the initial instinct people have when falling and crashing with the motorcycle is to protect the hands by landing on them, which is not and very dangerous, especially when you fall with a powerful force that can hurt your hands.

Therefore, land on both hands and protect your head as much as you can. This way, you will not only prevent a fall on your helmet but also prevent serious head damage that can be life-threatening. Also, try to fall as much as possible on the fleshy part of your hand rather than the bone, which can be very painful.

When you lose the motorcycle to go in the opposite direction, it falls

If you feel you are losing stability while you are riding, which may be due to various causes, such as a wheel or surface problem or an unstable road, try to go straight in the opposite direction. By doing this, the motorcycle will crash and you will avoid crashing on the side of your head.

For example, if you lose stability and the motorcycle crashed to the right. Push yourself to the left and most importantly, try to get your foot out of the fallen ounce as much as you can to prevent the motorcycle from squeezing and injuring your foot while there are cases that you will not be able to get your leg out. Don’t forget to buy motorcycle pants with foot protectors.

Jump off your motorcycle if you get stuck in the crack

One of the most common dangerous accidents that happen to motorcyclists is getting stuck in the crack while riding at high speeds, and it mostly happened on unpaved roads. So, when this happens, jumping off your motorcycle will not only prevent injury but will surely prevent serious head injury because there are chances that you will fall on your head if you get stuck in the crack.

Relax if you lose control

One of the most stressful things that can happen to you while riding is losing control or having a panzer suddenly in the wheel, which can lead to losing control. Don’t be stressed when you lose control because it will only increase your chance of doing something stupid and aggravate the accident. So, if you lose control, it is important to relax and try to slow down as much as you can to prevent an accident.

Never crash straight on a car

The most dangerous thing you can do to a car coming in your direction that doesn’t see you is to go straight ahead and jump on the car. That can kill you and I know tons of people who did it and are now paralyzed in a wheelchair or dead. Therefore, if you feel a car coming in your direction, fly yourself to the side between the trees as much as you can because it will certainly prevent head injury.

But not everyone has this ability to be quick and jump off the motorcycle, so it is a possibility. If you do not want to jump off the motorcycle, just go to the side so that you do not crash into the car and try to move to a safe place because the movement of other vehicles can hurt you.

What other things indicate that the helmet needs to be replaced?

Helmet Age – If you have been using your helmet for more than 5 years, then you need to replace it, no matter how good and clean it looks from outside because the helmet has experienced a lot of things that are said to weaken it after a few years such as sunshine and dirt. Even according to most manufacturers, you should replace your helmet after 5 years.

The helmet no longer looks good – If your helmet does not have a good outside look and you also feel it is a little loose, starting to have some cracks or marks and the wear is deteriorating, it means your helmet is no longer good and will not offer you maximum protection anymore. So, you should replace it when you start noticing such signs, only after 3 to 5 years of usage.

Bad chin strap – For some reason, many people do not attach importance to the chin straps. Know that if your chin strap is not good and does not hold the helmet tight to your head when you put it on, you must replace it immediately because it is very dangerous to ride without a suitable chin strap which sometimes happens to be destroyed, especially if you use your helmet on a daily basis.

The inside is deteriorating – If you have checked the outside of the helmet and it looks good, you should also check the inside. Check the EPS foam painted in black. If it has cracks or if you see peeling on the inside, it means you have to replace the helmet.

The helmet is made before 1984 – The helmets made before 1984 are simply poor and unreliable and there are a lot of them on Amazon. Don’t buy them because they are not of good technology, have old foamy, and in most cases, did not have a certain ASTM or Snell standard. So, don’t take the risk; buy a reliable helmet made in recent years by a reliable company.

Are there any motorcycle helmets that can survive a crash?

Yes, some helmets can survive after a minor injury. These helmets are very rare, made from EPP material, crazy, and cost very expensive. They are also difficult to get, for example, Bell Race Star Flex DLX helmet or Pro Star Flex and other companies like Focus. These helmets are very expensive and are the only ones I know that have EPP foam.

But the truth is that helmets that do not have the EPP foam can survive minor injuries as long as the foam is preserved, but they certainly cannot survive serious injuries like helmets that have EPP foam, so it is your decision on what to buy.

Related questions

How can I protect my motorcycle helmet? – There are several ways by which you can protect and keep your helmet safe, such as avoid cleaning the helmet with a material that can damage it. Do not try to not crash with it. Do not drop it anyhow or get it wet, and always keep it in a safe place or a box.

How much does a motorcycle helmet protect my head? – A motorcycle helmet significantly protects your head. 50% of motorcyclists died from a head crash because they did not wear a helmet. A helmet manages to offer about 67% protection from fatal brain injury.

Can water damage my helmet? – Usually not, but they can do damage to your helmet if it is made of iron or steel and can cause rust. So, I recommend you use a spray or water-repellent material that will keep it from rusting.

When choosing the motorocycle helmet, the most common question motorcyclists asks is which color is best for them. In fact, you need to know and consider many things before choosing the color of the helmet, such as temperature, visibility, and other things, and you will be shocked to see how the color affects them.

The color of the helmet is much more important than you think, it has a lot of different roles, especially for your safety, and for the design, what you like may not be what you need. There are many other factors you have to consider and you have to choose your motorcycle helmet according to them.

Which color should I choose for my motorcycle helmet? The best helmet’s color that will make you look good and feel safe when riding is white. It is the most recommended color while all other colors can also be good but not as white because white is proven to be the safest helmet color for riding. It looks good for other riders, does not absorb lots of heat from the sun and it significantly reduces the risk of a life-threatening accident.

There are also other colors that make you look good and safe for other riders while there are also many dangerous colors. So, it is important for you to read this guide because, in this guide, I will show you how to choose the color of your helmet.

How to choose the color of your motorocycle helmet?

Choosing a color for a motorcycle helmet is a lot more important than you think helmet color has some very significant roles, especially for your safety.

For example, a New Zealand study showed that motorcyclists who use a black helmet have a 24 percent risk of crashing while riders using a white helmet have only 19 percent. Comparing both, this means riders who use a black helmet have more than 5 percent chance of crashing than riders who use a light helmet. This is just one study; there are tons of other studies that prove this.

So, here are some important factors for you to consider before choosing your motorcycle helmet.

The visibility that the helmet color provides

The most important thing you need to consider before choosing the color of your motorcycle helmet is undoubtedly the level of visibility that the color of the helmet provides, while in most cases, white is the best option for most people because it provides the best level of visibility. But bear in mind that this may not be the case in some places. For instance, if you live in Canada, which is full of snow, white color will not be good, and in places where there are gray clouds and rain, orange or red helmet will the best option for you. So, it depends on where you ride, and it is important that you know what type of weather you will ride in the most. Below are some other examples:

If you know you are going to ride in rainy weather with gray clouds, then red or orange colors may be a better choice because they look better for other riders.

If you live in a warm area where you always experience sunny days, then it is better to ride with a white helmet which gives the best level of visibility.

If you live in a snowy place, you might be better off getting a black helmet or any other color except gray and white to make it look more visible.

As you can see, the color of the helmet depends on the level of visibility, which blends with the type of climate and weather environment you know you’re going to ride most of the time.

In addition, it is important for you to note that if you wear a light-colored helmet, the level of vulnerability will be much more higher and stronger than the level of the vulnerability of wearing a dark-colored helmet since the rider will easily spot you and stop, which lowers the chance of a serious accident. It’s also important to know that what car riders spot first when they see you is your head which is your helmet, not other safety gear. So, no matter how bright your safety gear is, it will not match the level of visibility that a bright helmet will provide you.

But if you still want and prefer a dark color helmet, it doesn’t mean you can’t get a dark color but simply know that you’ll be less likely seen by other riders at night while riding, and if you’re to choose a dark color, I would at least recommend that you wear other clothes like pants, gloves or a light-colored shirt so that you can at least still be seen by other riders.

The level of heat and sun absorption

Another factor you also need to consider when choosing the color of your helmet is the level at which the helmet absorbs heat and guess what? White color or bright colors, in general, are better here because if you do not know, bright colors absorb much less heat from the sun than dark colors that can be even worst in some cases where the sun is much. If you will ride with a black helmet that has vents in the summertime, it will be very difficult because of the heat it absorbs.

You should also understand that the closer the helmet color is to black, the higher the chance that it will absorb more heat, and the closer the helmet color is to white, the lower the chance that it will absorb more heat. So, if you really would not like to be warm while riding, the best thing is to buy a clean white helmet.

Helmet color design (Choosing your preferred color)

So, after showing you the two main safety factors you need to consider before choosing the color of your helmet, now it’s time for your personal preference which is definitely also important because you must love the color of the helmet if you don’t like how the helmet look, I guess you won’t want to wear it.

First of all, you need to know which color you like the most and also take into account the color of your motorcycle and other safety equipment like riding suit, gloves, etc.

And if you still want to get a dark-colored helmet, like black or dark blue, although it is more dangerous, I recommend you only get one if your safety gear and a motorcycle is light in color so that you will still be seen by other riders while if your motorcycle and safety gear is dark in color, it is dangerous for you to get a dark-colored helmet.

On the other hand, if you prefer a light-colored helmet, that will be so amazing because you will be much safer, especially if it is a white-colored helmet which is the safest while there are also those who prefer helmets with combinations of different colors which I would recommend less. I would recommend a solid and clean helmet the most.

Is it really that important to get a bright and not a dark helmet?

The short answer is yes. Your visibility when riding at night or in the morning is very important for your safety, and the darker your helmet is, the more you are likely to be injured.

If you don’t know, about 3000 people die every day in the world from car accidents, and a sizable percentage happens because car riders do not pay attention to motorcyclists, which is why it’s important to wear a bright helmet so that cars riders can clearly see you.

It is also important for you to note that another advantage of riding with a bright color helmet in the dark is that the rider will have more time to slow down in case the car rider does not see you and if he comes right at you at high speed, then he will press the brakes faster. But this is not the case if you are wearing a dark helmet, which means that by wearing bright helmets, you’ll save yourself from life-threatening benefits.

The roles, pros & cons of each motorocycle helmet’s color

Each color has its advantages and disadvantages in terms of places, weather, and of course, beauty. As we have some colors that are beautiful but not safe, we have colors that are very ugly but safe, and even a white color has its advantages and disadvantages. As a result of this, I decided to write about the advantages and disadvantages of each helmet’s color, and I am sure it will also help you to know which helmet color will suit you better.

White color

As I have often said earlier, white color is, in most cases, the best and safest for riding, while its advantage is that it will provide the best and perfect visibility for other car riders in any kind of weather, except snow. Know that if you live in a place where there is a lot of white snow throughout the year, then a white helmet will be less suitable for you.

In addition, white does not absorb heat which is another advantage, but in my opinion, the downside of white color is that it is less impressive and beautiful than other colors and it would not also fit most people’s motorcycle or safety gear because it is rare to import motorcycles or safety equipment that is white in color, so it is important to take this into consideration.

Red

Red is a beautiful and very dominant color and you will be surprised to hear that it is considered as both light and dark color. This is because there are different kinds of red, but no matter what kind of red you choose, it does not matter because it is a very dominant color and people often choose it. Dark red is good for night riding because you will look visible enough to other riders, and in my opinion, red will go with most motorcycle colors because there are tons of red Honda motorcycles. However, the only drawback I found in red is that it absorbs heat but, of course, not up to black, so take that into account.

Orange

Orange is an excellent simple color. It is considered relatively bright. It is very visible to humans, while it even reminds people of a safety mark and it is visible in any kind of weather such as snow, winter, gray clouds, sun, and of course, the best thing about it is that it does not absorbs much heat.

In my own opinion, the disadvantage of this color is that it is not beautiful and only if you have a KMT orange motorcycle to match. An orange helmet will look less beautiful with any other motorcycles that are not KMT, but this may not be the same for you since this is based on my own opinion.

Yellow

The only advantage of yellow is that it does not also absorb heat. However, it is by far the least colored and most dangerous to ride with after black in the night because it will also not be seen at night or even in winter but good for daylight for other car riders since it is absorbed by the sun. It is also a less beautiful color to go with while I do not know even know a single motorcycle company except Suzuki that has yellow motorcycles.

However, if you do love the yellow color, no problem taking it but I recommend that you paste a black stripe on the helmet to make it look a little bit better for other car riders.

Green

Green is a great color and does not also absorb a lot of heat which is excellent, and you can certainly ride a green helmet anywhere. There are those that like this color while some do not, but in the city, bright green looks better than dark green, so take note of this.

Blue

Blue is a very beautiful color and most people like it because it is quite suitable for Yamaha motorcycles. It just looks great and will fit anything but note that dark blue absorbs more heat than light blue. Another thing about blue is that it would look less visible at night, especially dark blue, but light blue will glow and make it easier for other people to see you.

Purple

In my own opinion, the only advantage of purple is that it is very pretty. However, it is less visible to other riders, both dark and light purple. It also absorbs a lot of heat when riding.

Black

Black is considered to be the worst helmet’s color because it will not be seen by other riders, which is very dangerous for your safety while riding. It will hardly be seen in the dark and even in winter and it also absorbs a lot of heat than any other color which is very annoying because you can’t even ride with a black helmet on sunny days, especially in summer, it will just be unbearable.

Know that some people still have a black helmet and are willing to take the risk and heat of black because it is the most beautiful color and blends with most of the motorcycles and all kinds of clothing more than other colors. It is the king in terms of beauty, so it is your choice to take the risk and accept the fact that black does not seem dark but absorbs a lot of heat it if you love the beauty of a black helmet or you do not buy a black helmet if you cannot take the risk.

Charging your motorcycle battery is a very important thing, in fact, the charging time of your motorcycle battery varies according to many different factors.

How long does it take to charge your electric motorcycle battery – at least 5 to 24 hours. New batteries will charge much faster, between 5 and 8 hours.

In fact, new batteries are already charged up to 80% at the point of purchase.

Continue reading this post to get more details and information about charging your motorcycle battery.

How long does it take to fully charge a electric motorcycle battery?

Charging a motorcycle battery takes between 12 to 20 hours. However, charging time depends mainly on the quality of the battery, the type of charger, and some other things which greatly affect the speed at which your battery charges.

Here are all things that affect your battery’s charging times:

The output current of the charger.

Battery capacity.

Battery self-discharge rate.

It is very important to consider all these factors so that your battery can maintain a fast charging time.

How long do electric motorcycle batteries last?

Sealed batteries last between 3 to 5 years, possibly even longer. However, acidification batteries last about 1 to 2 years.

In general, I personally recommend sealed batteries because they are much more efficient and better than acid type batteries.

In addition, there are several factors which greatly affect the lifespan of a battery.

Here they are:

How to Keep an electric Motorcycle Battery Healthy

To improve and maintain the life of your battery, you must know how to properly look after it. If you do not charge your battery properly, you can cause great damage to your battery.

Discussed below are some of the things you must pay attention to:

· Get a high-quality charger.

It is very important to use a high-quality charger to be sure that the charger charges your motorcycle battery in the best possible way.

I highly recommended using a charger that has an automatic off mode. It should also be under 2 amperes because charging with more than 2 amperes can blow up the battery and do massive damage.

· Check for leakage.

If you have a leak in your battery over time and you do not fix it, it can cause massive damage to your battery.

A leak can be caused by many factors, but the main reason is short or poor ground wiring.

To fix the leak, follow these steps:

Read the manual of your motorcycle to know the structure of your battery.

Disconnect the negative cable from the terminal.

The meter should read zero amps.

If nothing changes or you are confused and don’t know how to fix the leak, I highly recommend going to a professional to help you.

Remove electronic accessories from the motorcycle.

Riding with a lot of electronic accessories such as GPS or LED lights can drain your battery quickly and even affect the lifetime of your battery.

It is very important to turn off the bulbs, the GPS or any other electronic accessories when they are not needed.

Use the battery.

A factor that greatly affects battery life is the level of battery usage. Using your battery regularly will increase its lifespan.

If you do not use your motorcycle much, I highly recommend recharging the battery from time to time and using it.

Do not leave the battery in cold weather.

A factor that greatly affects the lifespan of a motorcycle battery is the weather.

In fact, as the weather turns colder, the energy in your battery will run out faster and the battery life will be shortened.

It is therefore very important to put the battery in a place that is an average temperature because very high heats can also damage the battery.

What Type of Battery Should I Buy?

There are several types of batteries and you need to know about them. In fact, for each of the following batteries I will show you, there are many advantages and disadvantages. It is very important to choose a battery type according to your personal preference.

Lead-Acid Batteries

Lead-acid batteries are the most common type of batteries. They are made up of a mixture of sulfuric acid and water, which creates an electrical charge. It is very important after buying this battery to let it charge for a day so that it will last longer.

The disadvantage of having lead-acid batteries is that they require a lot of maintenance because if you do not keep the battery in liquid, the fluid will evaporate and the cells will dry up which could destroy the battery.

Also, it is very important to install this type of battery on your motorcycle in a straight way, so that there won’t be any risk of leakage.

Gel batteries and AGM

Gel and AGM batteries are my favorite type of batteries.

In fact, these types of batteries are also lead-acid batteries, the only significant difference is that they are sealed.

The best thing about these batteries is that they are 80% charged at the point of purchase and do not require maintenance. And because they are closed and sealed you do not have to worry about leaks, which means that you do not need to worry about installation.

I recommend charging the battery for a few hours until it reaches 100% before you start using it.

Lithium-Ion Battery

The lithium-ion battery is another amazing battery, it is lighter than a standard battery and does not require maintenance.

Also, lithium-ion batteries give enormous power to the motorcycle, which makes them extremely suitable for large motorcycles.

When Should You Replace Your Motorcycle Battery?

It is very important to check your motorcycle battery every time you change the oil. To check your battery, you need to pay attention to the following things:

· Check the voltage.

It is very important to check that the voltage is between 12.6 to 13.3 volts, which means that the battery is excellent and should not be replaced. In fact, you need to replace your battery only when it shows a power of 12 volts or less.

· Check the voltage underweight.

To do this, you run the motorcycle engine at high speed and check the voltage.

If your battery shows between 8.5 to 11 volts for half a minute, it means that it is excellent and should not be replaced.

It is very important to do this test often or when you think there is a problem with your motorcycle battery.

Are there motorcycles that don’t run on batteries?

Lots of people who do not want to ride on a motorcycle driven by batteries ask me if there are motorcycles that do not operate on batteries.

And the answer is that electric motorcycles are the only type of motorcycles that do not work by batteries.

It is very important to know that electric motorcycles can perform very well, and compared to motorcycles powered by batteries, electric motorcycles can charge in between 1 and 4 hours.
